#OOTD: Dubai Look Book | Night #2

Outfit details:

Pixi Rose Tonic | Review

I recently discovered the Pixi Rose Tonic Toner* and it’s quickly become one of my Holy Grail skincare products. Prior to using this, I’ll admit I had no idea what a toner actually does for your skin. If I had known earlier, I could have avoided some pretty nasty acne spots over the past few years...

Huda Beauty's Easy Bake Powder | Review

It’s been a while hasn’t it? But, I’m back!

I bit the bullet after years of wanting to try the Ben NYE Banana Powder, and recently purchased the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder from Selfridges (see a full list of online/retailers at the end of the blog post) in the shade ‘Blondie’...

Jessica Nails Custom Colour | Cheeky

There's nothing I love more than a pastel nude polish on the nails, and I think I have finally found the perfect one...

Jessica Nails Phenom | Gumdrop

I’ve always been a fan of white nails whether it’s winter or summer, it’s always my go-to look. I love Jessica Nails’ new gloss white shade ‘Gumdrop’ from their new Sugar Town Phenom collection. I’ve used the Finale Shine Top Coat on top for that gel-shine finish.

Jessica Nails Custom Colour | Royal Red

Primer Water | Smashbox

As much as I love primers for making my foundation look 10x better and for actually staying on my face longer than 5 hours. A couple of months ago I ditched them in my daily routine, because my colleague (ex MAC makeup artist) told me I really don’t need to use one every single day. When I think about it, it’s an extra product going on my skin that it doesn’t need, and I could use something else which is a little lighter…

How I'm Treating Acne Scars | Deciem The Ordinary

I’ve had very mild acne for the past two years and have tried so many different things these past 2 years. Now I’m no professional, nor do I suffer from really severe acne so can only speak about my own experience and what has helped me.  So if you do suffer from severe acne, please advise professional medical help…

Huda Beauty Primer | Review

Whenever I wear foundation, I always wear a primer! The purpose of a primer is to give you an even finish, smooth out any lines/creases, minimise the appearance of pores and of course allow your makeup to last much longer. I've tried them all...

What's On My Nails | Summer Edition

Lots of people know I don't go too crazy with colour on my nails because I really like when my nails compliment my outfits. Nails are like the finishing touch to any outfit so it's always good to go for a colour that works with any colour palette e.g. light pinks, reds, corals, burgundy and so on...

The Facial Everyone's Talking About | Environ

When it comes to facials and skincare, I’m not the greatest as I’ve only ever had (now) 2 facials in my lifetime, and have a very basic skin regime. I’ve been eating a lot cleaner than ever before and working out 3 times a week, so I decided it was time to start looking after my skin more! During my teenage years I was really lucky and never really suffered from spots or acne, however last year I suffered a real breakout on my cheeks which caused scarring. It was a trial & error process, but I eventually found a herbal face wash & cream which helped get rid of any new spots, however the damage from the previous spots were still there!  After a lot of research on the different types of facials available (and trust me there are so many) I came across the Environ Facial. Environ is a globally recognised professional skincare brand which specialises in products which contain the vitamins your skin needs, most importantly Vitamin A which is the key ingredient to help blemishes, acne and scars. So after booking an appointment, yesterday I attended my Eviron Purifying Facial at the Luxurious Beauty Boutique which is located in Woodford, Essex

Bourjois | Rouge Laque

L to R: 04, 01, 03, 07, 08, 02, 06
Liquid lipsticks have been hot for quite a while and it just gets better and better! I love Bourjois especially for their lip products, as I love how high quality they are yet affordable. I recently had a play with the new Rouge Laque Liquid Lipsticks* which aren't matte for a change...

Color Therapy | Sally Hansen

I've realised, the more time I spend on caring for my nails, the longer my manicure lasts. I used to be really lazy when it comes to doing my nails. I would spend a couple of minutes filing my nails, applying a cheap base coat and would expect my nail polish to last without chipping. Caring for your nails is a little like caring for your skin before applying makeup to ensure you get the best results...

L'Oreal True Match Foundation | Review

Finding the right foundation shade when you're Indian is a right nightmare! Each time I've visited a makeup counter to get colour matched to a foundation, it's either been too dark or too pale. I've always been a MAC/Giorgio Armani girl when it comes to foundation and I tend to steer away from high street makeup brands because they don't tend to have a variety of shades to choose from. So, I was intrigued to try L'Oreal's True Match Foundation as they now have 23 shades to choose from and also I hear it's very similar to Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation and I'll guess you'll have to continue reading if you want to know if it is, or not...

Beauty Products to Carry on a Cabin Bag Only Flight

When it comes to packing your beauty products for a weekend away, I admit it stresses me out just thinking about the 100ml liquid rule & plastic clear bag. Not forgetting those weird Google Search terms you type in 'Is eyebrow gel considered a liquid?'. I hope this post helps inspire you when deciding what beauty products to take with you when catching a flight with only one cabin bag....

Real Techniques Bold Metals | Review

I recently picked up two new additions to my makeup brush collection as I've been wanting the Real Techniques Bold Metals since they came out almost what, around a year ago? I had saved around £40 worth of Boots advantage points and the brushes were on a promotion buy one get one half price so I just had to pick them up as all the signs were there!

Little Peony | Sally Hansen

I'm a huge fan of nude nails as they just look so sophisticated and chic. I am loving...

Mini Sephora Haul | Paris

Last week I was in Paris and of course Sephora was on the agenda as always! I didn't go crazy but I bought a few things as a little January treat...

My Laser Story | 1 - 3 Sessions

Last year October I decided to take the plunge and begin laser treatment because let's face it, shaving, waxing and ingrown hairs are just every girl's nightmare right? This is a very TMI post (too much information) but I hope it helps all you girls (and men if you're reading) out there.

LVL Before & After | Lash Transformations

For those of you new to my blog or to this LVL post, or even LVL in general! LVL stands for Lift, Volume & Length and is personally my favourite lash treatment ever.

LVL lifts lashes (sort of like a lash perm) from the roots, enhancing natural lashes and giving them a slight curl. Always remember this isn't a curling treatment, this is a lifting treatment so if your lashes are straight or curly, you can get this done!
